Life is a choice -not really,
Some choices He never let’s us make.
The choice to fall in love, to fall out of love. The cruelty of love and the joy of loving.
Falling in love, the choice He never let’s us make. With a view like His, He can see everything. He saw us grow closer, He saw the affection that grew between us, He saw us fall in like, then in love.
How cruel it was when He watched our love grow stronger, watched as I fell in love with you each day, every day. Falling in love the choice He never lets us make. He knew it was coming, the day all the joy would tun into pain. And yet he watched and let it happen.
Give me this choice, the choice to fall in love and out of love. Don’t let my heart’s desire dominate over me. Let me stop feeling, let it die.
If I don’t have the choice, only in death with love cease to grow.
In death love would be defeated and it wouldn’t destroy me.
The choice to fall in love, to fall out of love.
Give me that choice.
