No words…none.

Way too much attention is being given to the wrong people and things that do not matter.

On FB I saw that people were outraged about what happened in Garissa and they should be. But…I hope that the photos of those killed will stop being posted some day. Not because I want it hidden, or ignored or forgotten, but so that when the families of those killed won’t have that image as the last memory of their loved ones. With that said I want to say thank you to everyone who has prayed, given messages of encouragement and supported our country. Kenya is a family that fought long and hard to achieve our unity. And cowardly acts will not break us.

Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel.

My heart is broken and my spirit mourns.

All I know is that Your grace is sufficient.

This day, this hour

Moment by moment

I choose to lean on You,

For when I am at my weakest Your strength is strongest.

I pour out my grief to You

And praise You that on one glorious day

When all suffering is extinguished and love has conquered

We shall walk together again.

Brave warriors, should fate find us in battle, May our cause be just. May our leaders have clear vision. May our courage not falter. May we be triumphant an earn victory as we show mercy to our enemies.

May our efforts bring lasting peace. May our sacrifice be always appreciated by those we serve. May we return to our loved ones unharmed. Should we be harmed, may our wounds heal. Should we perish in the struggle, may God embrace us and find for us a place in His Kingdom.

keGod guide us. Pray for Kenya.
